Saturday we went to a "fun fly" at the local RC club that Kenny is a member of. The pilots flew airplanes except for Kenny.. he was the only heli guy flying. He did great and received tons of hoots and applause especially when he purposely let the blades skim the pavement while his helicopter was upside down. I was really proud of him and the performance that he gave.. I stood next to him while he was flying and I gotta say it was pretty cool looking back at all the people watching him. Here are some pics:
some planes lined up.. I did not take the best photo here.. I should have taken it when we 1st arrived as there were probably 100 planes.. but instead I waited until late in the afternoon and almost all of them were packed up... bad me.
After the 1st flight Kenny had a group of followers which I will now call groupies... he helped more people with helicopters then he flew... he is like a Helicopter ambassador- very giving.
The dogs were intently staring at the treat that Kenny was holding for them.
A kooky little family that I just could not stop watching.
