Yes, I can cook..

Since I am working from home and not really tired after work I have been cooking more.
I use recipes but it is fun.. and yummy. This week I made:
- Italian Turkey Sausage and White Beans (one of our faves thanks to Eileen)
- Hamburgers- marinated in Lea & Perrins Worchester Sauce, garlic and onions. Served with provolone cheese, lettuce, and spicy mustard on whole wheat buns.
- A cake for Kenny.. this was from a mix.. but still yummy (French Vanilla Cake w/chocolate icing)
- Banana Walnut Smoothie (my new favorite breakfast)

Plus I wear a super cute apron (Christmas Present from Anna & Ken):
-Busted looking for something in the pantry.-Check out that cake! The sprinkles really jazz it up...

I love that apron!

I had a total cooking disaster the other night, so I cannot recommend the recipe. It was chicken with mushrooms and pecan cream sauce. Ew! But, I did make a really tasty sausage and peppers this week. We use Giada's recipe - http://www.foodnetwork.com/food/recipes/recipe/0,,FOOD_9936_33168,00.html

We don't eat it as a sandwich, but I am thinking about having it over pasta next time. We've made it a lot, and it's good every time. We use turkey sausage and an extra pepper, too.
